Westcountry AI

This business runs on the agents I build.

Before I build an AI agent for you, I run the same kind of system on Westcountry AI. It finds firms, writes to them, reads the replies and briefs me every morning. I approve everything from my phone. Here's a normal working day.

Live since October 2026Controlled from TelegramNothing sent without my tap

The phone panels show the real message layout. Firm names, people and numbers in them are made up, because the real ones belong to real businesses.

7:00every weekday

A morning brief lands on my phone

One message with everything that needs me today: what went out yesterday, who replied, deals that need a call, tasks and invoices due, and new firms waiting for approval.

Each button opens the right thing. One of them signs me into the back office with a single-use link.

The lead finder looks for the right firms

It searches Companies House for active limited companies in the South West in the sectors I work with, then looks for each firm's own website.

  • A website only counts if it shows the firm's company number, or its exact name and postcode
  • It only uses an email address the firm publishes on its own website
  • It respects each site's robots.txt rules
  • Every firm waits for my approval before anything is sent

AI suggests a personal first line, with proof

For each approved firm, Claude reads the firm's own website and suggests one opening sentence. It has to quote the exact words on the site it based the line on, and the agent checks that quote is really there. Lines with flattery, questions or links are thrown out.

I read every line before it's used. If I don't approve it, the email simply starts without one.

Emails go out from my real mailbox

A few at a time, every ten minutes, like a person writing them. Each firm gets a short sequence of four emails, written for its sector, and every one has an opt-out line and a link to my privacy notice.

The mail is signed for my domain (DKIM), so it doesn't arrive looking like spam. One word, /pause, stops everything.

Replies come to my phone with an answer drafted

The agent reads my inbox. When someone replies, it stops writing to everyone at that firm, drafts an answer, and waits. Nothing goes back until I press send.

  • An opt-out removes the address for good
  • Bounces are taken off the list
  • Interested replies go straight into my sales pipeline

Website bookings become deals, instantly

When someone books a chat on this website, the booking lands in my pipeline as a new deal, with a reply drafted asking for two or three times that suit them. I get a nudge on my phone.

Deals, tasks and invoices live in my own back office, Westcountry HQ. I sign in with a one-time link sent to my phone, and every change is logged.

The rules it runs by

These are built into the agent's code, not left to good intentions. Every agent I build for a client starts from the same rules.

A person approves everything
No email, reply or first line reaches a business until I've tapped to approve it. Going live needs a separate confirm button.
Only firms the law allows
Cold email goes only to limited companies and LLPs, as UK marketing rules (PECR) allow. No sole traders, no personal email addresses.
Opt-outs are permanent
Anyone who asks to stop is never emailed again, by any part of the system.
No guessed email addresses
Only addresses a firm publishes on its own website. Never made-up patterns like firstname@.
AI that shows its working
Every personal line must quote the firm's own website, and the quote is checked automatically before I see it.
Locked-down back office
Single-use sign-in links, sessions that expire, and a log of every change.

What it's built from

Microsoft 365 for email, Companies House for company records, Telegram for the phone controls, Claude for the writing and reading, and Netlify to run it all. Every change is checked by an automated test suite before it goes live.

The same pieces can run on the accounts your business already has, and you own everything.
